( Sukuk.net - Arab News) Water and Electricity Minister Abdullah Al-Hussayen yesterday signed an SR1.09 billion contract with three companies to establish a new desal plant in Jeddah with a capacity to supply 240,000 cubic meters of water daily. Speaking to reporters after signing the deal, the minister said the project would be completed within 36 months, adding that it would meet the growing water requirements in Jeddah.
