(Sukuk.net - Jordan Times) Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Suhair Al-Ali commended on Wednesday the Islamic Development Bank's (IDB) efforts to fund service projects in Jordan.

During a meeting with an IDB official in Amman, Al-Ali highlighted the relationship between Jordan and the Jeddah-based bank.

Earlier this year, the IDB extended a $72.4 million soft loan to support the electricity sector in the Kingdom, as well as a $237,000 grant to build the capacity of the National Information Technology Centre.
