(Sukuk.net - The Peninsula) QNB Al Islami, the Islamic branch of Qatar National Bank (QNB), announced its sponsorship of the upcoming Sudan Real Estate and Agriculture Investment Horizons Exhibition to be opened by the Vice President of Sudan, Dr. Mustafa Othman Ismail at the Sheraton Doha Hotel.

A number of seminars will conducted during the event to be held from January 11-13 on the sideline of the exhibition. Experts from various industries will address topics and trends of increasing significance to real estate and agriculture investment in Sudan.

Elarya Gualtery, Projects Manager at Qatar Institute of Directors (QID), the organizers of the event, said: "Through its sponsorship, QNB Al Islami has shown its interest in playing an active role in key Sudanese real estate and agriculture industries, which have been growing significantly in the last few years."

QNB Al Islami opened its full fledged Islamic branch in Sudan's capital Khartoum in November 2008. The branch provides a full range of banking services and products including investment and finance products tailored to meet local demand for finance in real estate development and agricultural activities.
