September 2009 Ajman University of Science & Technology (AUST) has signed an agreement with Al Hilal Takaful Company which specializes in health insurance services. Representing AUST at the signing was Mr. Thamer Saeed Salman, Vice president for Administrative and Financial Affairs, while Takaful Al Hilal Company was represented by the CEO Mr. Jihad Abdul Rahman Vetroni. At the event Mr. Salman said that AUST senior administration attaches considerable importance to the wellbeing and healthcare of all members of the AUST community and their families. He added that the university is looking forward to a long-term relationship with Al Hilal Takaful, which is a privileged partnership rather than a business one. He also stated that the University is confident that the services provided by Takaful Al Hilal will meet the expectations of AUST community members. Mr. Vetroni said that he hoped that the signing of the agreement would mark the beginning of a strong partnership with the University.
